Wanderer Weekly - Week 19

The intrepid hippie wanderer is itching to get back on the road. His final week at the kibbutz is coming to an end. Six weeks have flown right by at the communal settlement. Stevie takes one last ride on Clyde the Camel, then unloads hundreds and hundreds of baby chicks into the chicken shack, and then the finality of the good-bye parties and camaraderie with others. It’s off to the road in a Dutch Daf with three other volunteers from the kibbutz. Down to ancient Jericho, passing an abandoned Arab village on the way, then onto Jerusalem, land of world spirituality--Jews, Christ, Islam--and a floating swim in the Dead Sea.
